| Panchase Treks |
| This trek begins and ends in Pokhara. It is not overly difficult and offers terrifc biews of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare, the famous and sacred fishtail mountain of Nepal. The maximum altitude is about 8000 (2500m) so it will not present problems to those who suffer from height. The villages are mostly Gurung and Brahmin and Chhetri although you will see the people of many different ethnic groups along the trail, including Sherpas and Tibetan traders. This is a very good trek for the people who have only little time but who want a taste of the mountains and village life in Nepal. |
